SharePoint 2019 On-Prem - Indexing Schedule Manager Timer job is Missing

After applying the April patches, there was an error running the Configuration. As a result, my Profiler and Search crawls no longer run automatically. I can manually kick off the crawls, and they run perfectly. But they no longer run on schedule.

I have patched again with the August patches, without errors. Still no scheduled crawls, and I see that the Timer job for Indexing Schedule Manager is GONE.

How can I re-build/re-create this rather critical Timer job?

    Hi @Keith Vollero ,
Per your situation, I recommend you have a try on the following steps:

    1. First, run SharePoint configuration wizard
    2. Second, Restart the SharePoint timer service and SharePoint server search service from the service.msc in all servers connected to the farm.

Thank you for the quick response.
Unfortunately, these steps did not provide a solution. The Configuration Wizard ran successfully, and I restarted both of those Services, but the Indexing Schedule Manager timer job failed to re-create itself.

Is the next step to remove the current Search Crawls and re-build them, and if so, do we think that would actually help? Does adding a new Search Service in SharePoint automatically create the required Timer Job?
