My windows 10 computer tells my phone that a gmail is doing Gmail stuff on the computer and the phone makes a noise. I don't want them to synchronize.

When I get a new message on my windows 10 computer while using gmail my phone makes a noise to tell me that. I don't want them to do that. I don't want synchronization for that app on either the cell phone or the app.
