Do you have both computers set up for sharing?
Home network Windows 11
My desktop PC and laptop can no longer access each other on the home private network since recent updates on both devices.
Trying to access laptop from PC results in window stating that the laptop "is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource."
Trying to access desktop PC from laptop, I get "You do not have permission to access" my desktop PC.
I check permission on all my drives on both computers and full control is allowed for everyone. In network settings, the Private Network is chosen on both devices which indicates it allows computers on the network to access each other.
What have I missed? This all used to work just fine.
Thanks!

2022-07-10T21:26:27+00:00 That was the issue on the laptop. Now I can access the laptop from the desktop, so I thank you. But I still can't access the desktop, which is my primary PC, from my laptop. On the desktop PC, the desktop folder, c drive and d drive are all set as shared with full control allowed by all, but the laptop still gives me a popup saying I don't have permission to access the desktop. What am I forgetting?
