Q&A First Answer is a feature that provides:
An AI-generated response within seconds after you post a question on Q&A without requiring you to press a button.
A high-quality response to resolve your inquiry without requiring you to wait for the community, suppliers, or moderators to provide a response.
Note: AI responses are not a replacement for human expertise on Q&A. Community members can still provide responses below, ensuring a mix of perspectives address your query. Moderators also have full authority to recommend or remove the AI response, maintaining quality and trust.
Q&A First Answer Limitations
Q&A First Answer has the following limitations:
Language: This feature only supports English locales, and AI-generated answers aren't provided to non-English posts.
Attachments: Q&A First Answer does not support posts with attachments. Posts with attachments on Q&A will not receive an AI response. Attachment-support will be included in a future iteration of this feature.
One-Question Conversation: This feature allows you to request a one-time regeneration of the AI response if you're unsatisfied with it. However, it doesn't support prompting the model with information as to what you're looking for in the improved response. This functionality would entail a multi-turn conversation, which isn't within the capacity of this feature’s infrastructure.
AI-Generated Responses: This feature's infrastructure aims to provide accurate information, but it may sometimes provide incomplete or unresponsive/irrelevant answers. If you encounter such content, please provide feedback to help us improve the feature.
How to Use Q&A First Answer
When you post a question on Q&A, an AI-generated response appears within seconds, without requiring action from the user.
The AI answer will be the first response posted but community members, moderators, and suppliers in some cases will still be able to provide human responses below the AI response.
If you're satisfied with the response, please accept the answer at the bottom of the response. This feedback improves the visibility of high-quality content on the platform.
If you're unsatisfied with the response, please proceed to reject the response, after which you'll be prompted to provide a reason for your dissatisfaction.
You'll also be able to decide between entirely rejecting the response, which simply deletes it, or regenerating it. Regeneration is a one-time functionality that generates a new response, which you can proceed to accept or reject (delete).
Moderators will be able to recommend or delete AI responses, while also monitoring user feedback.
