The rate of developing windows phone apps now are 300/ day. Everyone is trying to maintain the presence on the windows platform as the upcoming modern phone that the people will buy is actually windows phone 8. It will be provide by HTC, Samsung, Nokia and more. Since, I mentioned Nokia, you should know that Nokia sold 4.4 million Lumia smartphone in Q42012.     well, first Get the SDK - FREE download on: dev.windowsphone.com/en-us, you can find there also some code samples for ramp.     It will work, all what you have to do is to open it and convert it to WP8 using VS. if it didn't work it will pinpoint out what should be change. Try it and let me know if you need more guidance on that.
