Pronouncing it right.
There is a room in our building called Kalaloch, named after a place in Washington state that I'm quite sure is very pretty compared to the room it's named after.
But I've been getting the pronounciation all wrong. I manage to set of giggles from my supportive co-workers every time I try and say. As I'm regularly reminded, apparently it is pronounced 'Claylock'. You swallow the first 'a' and the second 'a' is soft. The 'ch' bit I've got.
So by writing this post and bookmarking this page, I hope to put this audio-based erratum behind me. Claaaaylock.
