    "Volunteers"?? Does that mean a company like Microsoft wants us teachers to work for free??? to help them???

    I think you meant to reply to the other post. I know know much about the nature of that project yet and I don't know what sort of compensation is or is not involved. But my own experience when I was still in the classroom was that I was very nicely compensated for any work I did for Microsoft.
