Stephen Elop to deliver APC 2014 Keynote

It's a week of big announcements in the lead up to Australian Partner Conference in only four weeks time. Following on from unveiling the Microsoft Australia Partner Awards finalists yesterday, today I'm excited to let you know that Stephen Elop will be joining us on the Gold Coast for APC to deliver the opening keynote on Wednesday morning.

Stephen is the Executive Vice President of Microsoft Devices Group and is responsible for the growing range of Microsoft hardware including Lumia smartphones, Surface and Xbox. More than this, he has a fantastic background as the CEO of Nokia until the recent acquisition by Microsoft where he forged the partnership to grow the third major phone eco-system with Windows Phone. You can read more about Stephen's amazing business background here.

I've had the privilege of seeing Stephen present on a number of occasions and he's truly an inspiring and engaging speaker - the perfect person to share with our partners where Microsoft is heading in the year ahead.

The speaker list for APC is growing and we'll be announcing more great speakers in the next few weeks to make sure your investment in attending is going to give you a real return.

I'm looking forward to sharing the detailed APC agenda and more speakers next week.

See you on the Gold Coast.

Phil.
