What you need to know about evolving MPN competencies for Microsoft Partners

As announced today by Gavriella Schuster, we are streamlining our competency portfolio based on customer demands for cloud solutions and to help partners build and demonstrate technical expertise in cloud.

Visit the new MPN Evolution Competency Guide where you can utilise the guided experience to learn more about the best competency path for you, participation requirements for Gold and Silver levels, as well as associated benefits and incentives.

The schedule of these changes has been designed to give you time to develop capabilities in cloud solutions, build new practices, transform your business, and transition into one or more of the competencies available and of course the Microsoft team is here to help you in this journey.

While these changes take place over an extended period, here are the key dates to be aware of

  • July 30, 2016 is the last day to sign up for a retiring competency. We will no longer accept new applications for retiring competencies after July 31, 2016.
  • October 30, 2016 is the last day to renew a retiring competency. You must renew the retiring competency on or before your anniversary date or before October 30th, 2016, whichever is earlier.  We will no longer accept renewals for retiring competencies after October 31, 2016. View your Anniversary Date on the Partner Membership Center.
  • January 30, 2018 is the last day to be active in a retiring competency. The competencies officially retire on January 31, 2018.

If you have any questions, please use the live chat option on MPN Evolution page  or MPN Evolution Competency Guide to reach a Microsoft representative.

We value your partnership through this important evolution and look forward to your continued engagement in building our businesses together.

Phil.
