Founded in June, 2014 by Javier Dutan, Sabor is a New York based startup trying to revolutionize the restaurant industry with their intelligent Windows software application, Sabor POS (point-of-sale.) Sabor POS helps restaurants automate their ordering and payment processes. Users simply enter their company info, upload their menu and Sabor seemlessly has them up and running “Restaurants, bars, and food trucks have needs that are unique to our industry,” says Dutan, “We’ve designed our app to enable quick and easy communication between the front of the house, kitchen and back of the house. This is key to growing a business - creating a flexible and effective environment.”

With Sabor POS, users can add multiple restaurants to one account, allowing them to track all of their business activities simultaneously, while continuing to expand their menu and work force. “Your restaurant produces a lot of important data that can accumulate really quickly,” continues Dutan, “so we designed our dashboard to store and manage all that data in one location, securely and safely. It really is all about effectively managing our customer’s growth.”

A Microsoft BizSpark member, Sabor POS is uses Azure to power their technology solution. Hosted entirely in the Azure cloud network, Sabor uses Azure for backend power and customer data storage. The company also leverages Machine Learning to accurately predict sales patterns of restaurants based on the day, month, and even the local weather forecast. “Managing to pick up on the smallest of patterns can be immensely helpful,” says Dutan, “and we want ensure our customers realize their capacity for success.”

Want to improve your restaurants communication, organization, and efficiency, all through one solution, you need Sabor.
