ScrumMaster Certification Course:

In this course, participants will learn how to stop thrashing and start executing along with everything necessary for getting started with Scrum. Participants gain hands-on practice with the release backlog, sprint backlog, the daily Scrum meeting, tracking progress with burndown charts, and more. Participants experience the Scrum process through multiple, non-technical group exercises.

Following the course, each participant will become a Certified ScrumMaster from the Scrum Alliance, which includes a one-year membership in the Scrum Alliance, where additional Certified ScrumMaster-only material and information are available.

Jeff Sutherland is Chairman of the Scrum Training Institute, CEO of Scrum, Inc. and Senior Advisor and Agile Coach to OpenView Venture Partners. He created the first Scrum in 1993 and worked with Scrum Co-Creator Ken Schwaber, to formalize the Scrum development process at OOPSLA’95. As VP of Engineering and CTO of nine software companies he prototyped Scrum in four companies and in the fifth company created Scrum as we know it today

Mitch Lacey is an agile practitioner and trainer and former Microsoft employee. Mitch has been managing projects for over twelve years and has numerous plan-driven and agile projects under his belt. As a Certified Scrum Trainer (CST) and a registered Project Management Professional (PMP), Mitch shares his experience in project and client management through Certified ScrumMaster courses, Agile coaching engagements, conference presentations, blogs and white papers.

Stephen Howard joined Microsoft in 2000 and currently is a Sr. Consultant in the East Region services team. His focus primarily is in the application platform space (i.e., everything .NET), and has worked with a wide variety of customers on both large and small custom application development efforts. Over the past two years, his focus has been targeted more on application lifecycle management (“ALM”), where he has been helping customers realize the benefits of Microsoft’s development tools (Visual Studio Team System and Team Foundation Server), and how they can help increase developer productivity and overall software quality.
