In today’s post of the 31 Days of Windows Servers (VMs) in the Cloud Series, Keith Mayer gives us Step-by-Step: Running FREE Linux Virtual Machines in the Cloud with Windows Azure.  As I have mentioned in a previous post, Windows Azure offers the ability to run a number of Linux distros as VMs in the cloud as well as the latest Windows Server Operating Systems.  From a Linux standpoint, the currently supported list of Operating Systems includes OpenLogic CentOS 6.3, SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11 SP2, Ubuntu Server 12.04.1 LTS, and Ubuntu Server 12.10.
