Microsoft has utilized the features of BitLocker to protect data at rest for years, but doing so in an enterprise the size of Microsoft requires the correct knowledge of BitLocker to take full advantage of what this feature set has to offer. Today we are joined by Damon Rutherford, Microsoft IT Senior Program Manager, and Eric Leanard, Microsoft IT Principal Security Engineer, to discuss the new Microsoft BitLocker Administration and Monitoring tool in Windows 7. This new tool helps you enforce BitLocker compliance with a built in reporting feature and allows you to recover your recovery password to access a hard drive if you’ve been locked out.
