Convertire una Subscription da Trial ad Abbonamento... come procedere e cosa accade a dati/impostazioni

Dopo avere testato a fondo i servizi Microsoft Online o la suite BPOS i vostri clienti potrebbero chiedervi di convertire una Trial in Abbonamento.

Vedremo insieme nel seguente post come effettuare i passaggi necessari per completare la transizione.

Innanzitutto, alcuni giorni prima che la Subscription scada verrà inviato un reminder all'indirizzo e-mail utilizzato come Live ID durante la sottoscrizione dei servizi.

La comunicazione sarà simile alla seguente:

Your trial subscription to Business Productivity Online Standard Suite will expire in X day(s). Now that you have experienced the value of Microsoft Online Services, we hope you will consider a paid subscription.

Note: If you would like to convert your trial subscription to a paid single service subscription, please see the information in this Help topic. If you would like to convert your trial subscription to the same service, follow the steps in this message.

To purchase a subscription:

  1. Sign in to the Microsoft Online Services Customer Portal with the following Windows Live ID: customer live ID.
    Note: Be sure to sign in with your Windows Live ID, which is different from the user name that you use when signing in to the Microsoft Online Services Administration Center.
  2. Open the Subscriptions page, find your trial subscription, and then click Buy Now.
  3. In the Shopping Cart, you can adjust your service usage address, the number of licenses or amount of storage you want to buy, and you can select a Microsoft Online Services Partner.
    Note: The services that we offer may vary depending on country or region, and the service you want may not be available if you change your service usage address.
  4. Click Checkout to select billing and payment options, accept the agreement, and then confirm your order.

If you purchase a subscription within 30 days after the trial expiration date, all the data and customizations that you made during your trial period will remain in your purchased subscription. If you choose not to purchase Business Productivity Online Standard Suite, all the data and customizations that you made will be available for back-up for 30 days after the expiration of the trial.

Note: If you currently have a Volume Licensing Enterprise Agreement or Campus and School Agreement, please contact your preferred Microsoft Channel Partner to purchase a subscription.

A questo punto sono possibili 2 scelte:

  1. Trasferimento dei dati dalla versione di valutazione a una sottoscrizione a pagamento con gli stessi servizi: se si passa dalla sottoscrizione di valutazione a quella a pagamento mantenendo gli stessi servizi, i dati vengono trasferiti automaticamente.

  2. Trasferimento dei dati dalla versione di valutazione a una sottoscrizione a pagamento di un servizio singolo: se si acquista una nuova sottoscrizione a un singolo servizio come Microsoft Exchange Online, Microsoft SharePoint Online o Microsoft Office Live Meeting, è necessario eseguire ulteriori passaggi per trasferire i dati dalla versione di valutazione.

Ecco cosa accade a dati e impostazioni al momento della transizione se completata 30 giorni prima o dopo la scadenza della Trial:

"If you purchase a subscription within 30 days after the trial expiration date, all the data and customizations that you made during your trial period will remain in your purchased subscription. If you choose not to purchase Business Productivity Online Standard Suite, all the data and customizations that you made will be available for back-up for 30 days after the expiration of the trial."
