I'm a SharePoint Premier Field Engineer for Microsoft.  This blog will share some of the challenges, discovery and success I've had over my years of supporting SharePoint.  You'll find future posts about SharePoint and anything that a SharePoint User/Administrator/Engineer/Developer/Architect may find useful.  There will be a SharePoint theme but SharePoint is such a broad product, that this blog will cover a wide variety of topics.

I will also stress that with SharePoint, you should know a little bit about everything and be friends with someone who is good at the things you're not.  SharePoint has many moving pieces and parts.  It also interacts with many platforms and is used in a variety of ways.  If you're deploying service applications, supporting multiple versions of Windows Server and IIS, administering SQL Databases, developing applications and workflows with Visual Studio / SharePoint Designer, scripting with PowerShell, collaborating and creating content with users, and supporting multiple browsers and office clients.......then this is the blog for you!
