The November 2011 refresh of the Visual Studio 2010 RTM Virtual Machine with Sample Data and Hands-on-Labs is now available. This new version includes an extended expiration date of April 9, 2012. Please note that if you are using the last version of the virtual machine it will stop working on November 1, 2011.

    Brian, any chance you could publish the MD5 sums for the different parts? I'm downloading the new November 2011 VM, but I'm again having problems with some of the parts. Note to others: Even though other archivers will detect the archives as rar files, at least 7zip and a few others I tried are unable to extract it successfully because they file has been signed. Extracting thought the provided executable works fine though.

    @Jesse, You shouldn't need to use 7zip or WinRAR to extract these files since the files themselves are self-extracting (built using WInRar). So you can just run the EXE. I have never published the CRC's/checksums for these files because the built-in self-extractor will tell you exactly which (if any) files are failing and need to be downloaded again. Brian
