A beautiful West Virginia Bed and Breakfast
Al and Allison Alsdorf, my parents-in-law, run a beautiful Bed & Breakfast in
Harpers Ferry, West Virginia. It is really wonderful place; the house is large
and comfortable – and the town of Harpers Ferry is a very cool, small town,
about half of which is a preserved historic region from the Civil War. (It is
also known as the location of John Brown’s last stand.) They run the B&B
as something of a sideline; my father-in-law also does software testing for a major
aerospace firm. They charge a rate that seems unusually low to me – less
than $100 a night for two people, breakfast included.
Al and Allison are really great folks; very comfortable and fun.
Highly recommended; if you drop by, give them a hello from their Microsoft son-in-law.
Their web site is https://www.harpersferry-wv.com
P.S. They have high-speed internet and wireless access. <grin>
