Travis Hobrla: Introduction

Here's a quick introduction before I start posting anything technical (updated 5 Feb 2008).

My name is Travis Hobrla and I'm a developer on the Windows CE Embedded BSP team. I've been working at Microsoft since 2004, when I graduated from the University of Michigan. I've been involved in developing and maintaining a number of BSPs throughout that time, including CEPC, Device (ARM) Emulator, and an ARM-based VoIP phone. I've worked a great deal on cleaning up and improving the BSP code base, and there is still much work to be done in this area.

These days I spend my time working on new embedded BSPs and improving our BSP architecture.

In my spare time I consider myself an unashamed hardcore video gamer (WoW and Guitar Hero are my current favorites). I also enjoy composing and performing music for the piano - and if you are unlucky, I have been known to sing.
