Video: How to flip or rotate an image in an Office document
Some of you have been asking how to flip images horizontally, so here's how.
In 2007 Word, PowerPoint or Outlook:
- Click the image you want to flip or rotate in order to select it.
- When the image is selected, you will see the Format tab become highlighted
- On the Format toolbar, click this icon:
- Choose an action depending on the results you want: flip horizontal, flip vertical, rotate left, rotate right
- This is what it should look like:
In earlier versions:
- Click the image you want to flip or rotate in order to select it.
- On the Picture toolbar, click the Rotate Left 90 button .
- You can keep the clip as it is, or rotate it any way you want using the rotating handle . Position the rotating tool over the rotating handle. As you click and drag the handle, dotted lines around the clip guide you.
If none of the above work for you:
Click the image you want to flip or rotate in order to select it
Hover with your cursor over the little square on the left-hand side of the image until your cursor changes into a double arrow, like this:
Drag your cursor over to the right-hand side until the image is flipped horizontally

Thank you, I have been trying to flip some and there seemed to be no way. I will try it when it comes up again.
