So you think you can code mobile apps?

If you are a developer and you've wanted an excuse to do a connected device application for your Windows Mobile smartphone or Pocket PC, well - we've come up with one for you.

Geekzone have organized a competition for you to get stuck into.

If you win, you get a nice new Telecom Apache (which aren't even released yet), a copy of Visual Studio 2005 professional (also not released yet), a spot in a Handango newsletter (worth lots) and two months worth of banner advertising on Geekzone.co.nz (also work lots).

Why is this good?  Because if you write an app - you get given some real capability to take it to maket.  I sold more of my applications through handango than anywhere else, and having the exposure on Geekzone and the Handango newsletter will really help you make it commercially successful.  Just dont quit your day job until the money is rolling in - or should that be until you are rolling in money!

All the details are available on the geekzone website - check it out!  I'd love to enter, but cant - but if you can - you can not only win, but get a small business off the ground too.
