Esta é em primeira mão: quer saber quais palestrantes internacionais já estão confirmados para o Teched Brasil 2007 ??? Pois bem, aqui segue a relação, e a lista promete aumentar!!!

Keynote Speaker

Os Keynote Speaker são palestrantes executivos, que visam em seus discursos falar sobre o futuro da plataforma Microsoft, a importância de nossas soluções e como ITPros e Desenvolvedores podem se beneficiar de nossas soluções. Este ano, por enquanto, temos 2 já confirmados:  Barry Briggs, General Manager do Microsoft IT, que falará sobre a importância de Dynamic IT e roadmap de produtos e tendências, como SOA, S+S, MDM ,etc. Barry foi nomeado em 2001 como um dos  CTO's mais conhecidos do mundo pela revista InfoWorld.

Além de Barry, teremos também Eric Swift, Diretor do Grupo de Comunicações Unificadas (Unified Communications) . Eric vai falar sobre a plataforma de UC da Microsoft, que inclui produtos tais como o Office Communications Server, o Communicator, Exchange Unified Messaging, etc e como essa plataforma pode ser usada para desenvolvedores e ITPros em suas empresas, com o objetivo de unir voz, emails, dados, etc em uma plataforma única. Barry Briggs, General Manager

Barry Briggs is General Manager of the Advanced Platforms Group in Microsoft IT which drives building and adoption of Master Data Management (MDM) and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) solutions for the company. Previously at Microsoft he served as senior architect in the Business Process and Integration Division at Microsoft, where he helped set the technology strategy for Microsoft’s enterprise integration and business process product line. Barry’s twenty-seven-year career in the software industry includes eleven years at Lotus/IBM where he was named the company’s first Lotus Fellow. After Lotus/IBM, Barry held a number of senior executive positions serving as CTO for a number of successful software vendors. Well known in the industry (called “one of the better known CTO’s in the world” by InfoWorld in 2001), Barry has given numerous keynotes and panel discussions at events including Gartner ITExpo, DCI Content Management Conference, MCCExpo, Lotusphere, InfoWorld’s CTO Forum, Burton Group’s Catalyst, and others. Barry is the author of numerous technical articles, two novels, and the popular “Barry Talks!” weblog (https://www.edithere.com/barry).

 

Eric Swift, Senior Director

As senior director of product management in the Unified Communications Group at Microsoft, Eric Swift is responsible for managing customer and industry requirements, product positioning, and marketing strategies for the next generation of Microsoft Unified Communications products and services, including Microsoft Office Communicator, Microsoft Office Communications Server, and Microsoft RoundTable.

Swift has been with Microsoft for six years. Previous to his current position with the Unified Communications Group, he was director of product management in Microsoft’s Application Platform group. Prior to joining Microsoft, Swift held vice president positions at enterprise application integration and CRM software vendors where responsibilities included product management, CRM and Data Warehouse implementations, and technical support operations.

Swift has an MBA from Columbia University in New York, NY.
