Change in Lync 2013 Taskbar Icon - Part 2

With the release of the September 2013 Cumulative Update for the Lync 2013 client, the icon used in the notification area of the taskbar is back to the original icon showing your presence status:

    Any news on whether the icon's background color will ever be fixed? Pet Petri's screenshot, it looks absolutely awful and out of place on a dark taskbar.

    @mardrik The change to the icon is included in KB2825630.  Make sure that you apply all of the prerequisites listed in the KB as well.  Also make sure that you understand the known issue with the September client update.  I have a blog post about it and KB2825630 lists it as well.

    Still no change on my side. Windows Update Center  announces everything is  up-to date. /-: Do you have any update ID? Thx.
