As we all get ready to demonstrate the great new 2010 offerings a thought for a how to “knock it out of the park” when you make that all important Project Server demonstration to the customer using a virtualized environment running on a laptop.

Virtual PC will be gone and replaced with Hyper-V, this runs on Windows Server and will allow you to run both 32bit and 64bit applications.

We work with Quad Processor, dual internal drive , 8GB laptops, and recently we have been using solid state drive to noticeably improve start up time.
