May SDK Content Released

I'm a programmer writer at Microsoft and I write content for the Dynamics AX SDK. Specifically, I cover AIF and database content.

In Dynamics AX, the online help is divided into three categories:

  • User documentation
  • Administrator documentation
  • Developer documentation

Unlike the other categories, the developer documentation is released in a continuous publishing model. So we publish SDK content to MSDN on a monthly basis. This model allows us to make SDK help content available without having to wait for an official release. Everything we release to MSDN is then rolled up in the online help file in the next RTM of the product.

The latest updates for May have just been released. The main link for MSDN is msdn.microsoft.com or you can go directly to the developer docs at msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa493463.aspx.
