Do you want to help out your favorite charity and have a little fun with Office 2007 at the same time? Enter the Develop Without Borders Challenge. In a nutshell:

  • Conceive and present a solution to one or more challenges faced by your favorite charity.
  • Be judged on your proposed solution based on its potential to solve a charity's challenge (70%) and how broadly you use the 2007 Microsoft Office system as a development platform (20%).
  • Win over $12,000 in hardware and software for yourself and up to $50,000 in hardware, software and services to put the solution into action.

If you have been looking for an excuse to noodle through the vast development platform that is Office, give it a shot. Feel free to mix in some workflow using BizTalk Server 2006 or WWF and solve a few tough problems for your favorite charity.
