SharePoint Dashboard

Want to stay up-to-date with all of the happenings around SharePoint?  The two best methods I have found are Twitter and my.live.com.

For those who haven’t been bit by the social networking bug yet, you may be missing out.  I recommend creating an account on Twitter and checking out Joel’s post on 100 SharePoint People to Follow on Twitter.  Then, download TweetDeck and set up a few custom search columns.  Trust me, there is business value in this.

For those who swear off micro-blogging, here’s a second option.  Create a Live account and add a page to your my.live.com site.  When you add content, you can choose the advanced option and enter an RSS feed URL.  The result is a web part that will pull posts from your feed.

Here is a screenshot of my dashboard.
