Upcoming Exchange Online connector changes pushed back

Today we announced that the connector changes that were planned for Exchange Online have now been pushed back from February 1st 2017 to July 5th 2017. These changes impact Exchange Online inbound connectors and require organizations with certain configurations to make changes and updates.

The original blog post and KB article have both been updated to reflect the new timelines. Both articles also have updated content in them, so please visit them for full details on this planned change.

For those that were required to make a change but still had not, breath a sigh of relief, you have more time.

Cheers,

Andrew

That said, this isn't just about Microsoft blocking folks who don't setup their connectors the right way. This is also about a scenario where messages that you currently are relaying through Office 365 do not get attributed to your tenant, and therefore your organizational policies & rules won't apply, and you won't be able to report or troubleshoot those messages. This is the bigger concern and suggest that customers should take action sooner than later.
