CMAP Silverlight Study Group Meeting - Intro to XAML

This will be the kickoff meeting for the CMAP study group covering Silverlight 4 Business Application Development
We will meet at the Aquilent Conference Center on Monday, July 12, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Future meetings will be held on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month.
As a study guide, we will be reading "Microsoft Silverlight 4 Business Application Development: Beginners Guide" by Cameron Albert and Frank La Vigne.
For the first meeting, Steve Stewart and I will be presenting the material in Chapter 1 and an introduction to XAML Syntax. Anyone interested in expanding their knowledge about Silverlight is welcome to attend any of the meetings.
Please note that there are currently no plans to provide pizzas at these meetings, so you might want to grab a bite before arriving or bring a snack.

What's better than chocolate + peanut butter? WPF 4.0 + .NET 4.0, of course! We'll take a look at all of the new Windows Presentation Foundation features and .NET tools while developing a WPF application using the .NET Framework 4.0.
