This past Spring, Jay Roxe, Product Manager for Visual Basic, announced the launch of VBRun, a new MSDN resource center for Visual Basic 6.0 development. I missed the announcement at the time, but found out about it through a meeting with a representative from InnerWorkings, currently the featured partner on the VBRun site. InnerWorkings has an interesting approach to training software developers, in that their application requires developers to actually write code and have it evaluated in the course of their training. The evaluation is done by a custom judging engine, so it's essentially real-time feedback on how the student is doing. They also have courseware that can help those who are looking to move from VB 6 to Visual Basic .net make the transition more smoothly.
So if you're currently working with VB 6 and need support or migration information, the VBRun site and/or InnerWorkings' offerings may be just what you need.
