Getting Ready for TechReady7

Now that my commitments are set for FY09, I did a great presentation on DSLs and Software Factories at Dr. Dobb's Architecture and Design World 2008 with Christoph Wienends, and drank the cool-aid at MS101 I am now looking forward to a week in Seattle.

Before moving on, I HAVE to talk about session at Dr. Dobb's that I did with Christoph Wienands. The session was attended by about 50 people, and we went through the DSL and Guidance in Context stuff. Christoph showed a demo on the MS DSL toolkit and I presented the results of our Software Factories implementation. It was a fun session and if you couldn't make it, but are interested in what we did just send me a mail.......

Next week will be the Microsoft internal TechReady conference and I will be there :-). I am looking forward to hear more about the products, roadmap, AND certainly to the session on winning with Software Factories that Jezz Santos, Michael Lehman, and I are doing.

For the week I plan on looking into SQL 2008 and BI, .NET 3.5 SP1, Vista, Visual Studio Rosario, Silverlight, and last but not least IE8.

Stay tuned for my posts from the conference.
