Stan Soloway, President of PSC Provides Insights at Microsoft Government Contractor Summit
It was a great honor to host Mr. Stan Soloway at Microsoft's Government Contractor Summit. Soloway shared his perspective on Growth opportunities for government contractors and the information shared gave the community much to think about. While growth from 9/11 through FY05 was 11% to 23%, the market returned to historic norm (7%) in FY06 which were reflective of pre 9/11 days.
- DoD growth = 8% vice 13% from 2005-2006
- Civilian agency growth = 7% up from 2% 2005-2006
Pending final data, FY07 market appears to have been flat. There are a couple areas of opportunity for growth moving forward from his perspective:
•Program/Project Management
•Quality Control/Testing
•Utilities/Housekeeping/Facilities (including civilian)
•Education/Training
•Tech Rep Services
