To support the exchange of medical imaging data, the HealthVault 0910 Release includes Platform API and .NET SDK methods and functionality specifically designed for the transfer of large data sets, as is the case with imaging studies, and the new Medical Image Study data type defines the format for exchanging imaging studies with HealthVault, while retaining full-fidelity imaging standards files, such as DICOM.
