Roll your own

Lots of buzz and press this week about the availability of the system builder version, in the States and abroad. Thanks for your patience.

What are really fun to see are all the positive reviews on Newegg.com  Thanks to those of you who took the time to write them up!  95% "5 egg" reviews as of now...

"Windows Home Server is awesome. It's reliable, simple to use and extremely stable. I've been beta testing it for over 6 months with next to zero problems. It's a must have for anyone with more than one computer and a network in their home."

Well said, FusionGuy. Good weekend.

I have a problem and hopefully someone on this blog may be able to help me. I've not been able to find any information on the web concerning this. I'm currently running a Release Candidate version of Home Server. If I install the OEM version now, but down the road change both my motherboard and cpu at the same time, will I need to purchase a new license? I ask this because I changed my board and chip about two weeks after installing the R/C of Home Server and it required a new license key. If you could answer this question, I'd be a very happy camper.
