Add popular commands to your Office 2010 ribbons

The Office team has compiled customers' favorite commands across all Office 2010 applications, which you can download to add as a Favorites tab in Access, Excel, InfoPath, OneNote, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, Publisher, Visio, and Word.

For example, the Favorites tab in Word puts Save, Send, Properties, Spelling & Grammar, Quick Print, Word Options and other frequently used commands a single click away:

You can see previews of all of the Favorites and download the ones you want. Be sure to save the files locally. Then right-click in the ribbon area away from any buttons and select Customize the Ribbon:

Then go to the Import/Export button and select Import customization file:

IMPORTANT: If you've customized the Quick Access Toolbar or Ribbon in any way, these changes will be lost when you import the new custom Favorites tab:

So you may want to use Export all customizations to back them up before importing the new Favorites tab. That way you can switch back to your old settings by reimporting your exported version if you prefer your own modifications.
