Now Available: MIM 2016 June Preview
Today we’re making available early access via technology previews (CTP) of some of the “work in progress” changes for MIM 2016.
These changes are intended for inclusion in future hotfixes, service packs and new versions of Microsoft Identity Manager.
The CTP has an EVAL license and is not intended for production use, customers who have a critical issue in production should not try a CTP, and instead continue to go through the normal support hotfix process.
The June CTP includes new scenarios listed below:
- MIM Portal: enabling self-service group and profile management from multiple browsers, including Chrome and smartphones
- MIM Service: for sending approval emails via an Exchange Online mailbox
- Installers: for deploying on Windows Server 2016 Technical Preview 5 or with SQL Server 2016, or SharePoint 2016
- Privileged Access management scenario: adding new cmdlets for integrating with auth policy silos, simplifying deployment, and enabling new features of Windows Server 2016
