We require MS-WSTIM extensions for WS-Transfer Put

We just committed a change to ILM “2” which removes functionality from the web service.  Previously you could send a Put request without using the MS-WSTIM extensions.  You now will get a fault when trying to do so.

The change requires you to use our extensions to make successful put requests.  The motivation is similar to our previous post on web service changes where we removed replacing multi-valued attributes: We want to ensure that customers can easily configure a secure ILM.

You will only be affected if you wrote a custom client that depends on making “naked” WS-Transfer put requests.  It is our understanding that no customer will be affected.  The example I showed and the public client use the extensions.

Also please note we had an ask to refer to the extensions using the documentation name, MS-WSTIM, and not our acronym, TEIMO.
