Samsung Omnia SGH i-900 announced
Omnia is the latin plural of the word 'ALL'. Today Samsung have announced the SGH I-900 Omnia device which really does have 'ALL' the functions you could want!
It comes equipped with a 3.2" Haptic Touch Screen, either 8GB or 16GB of storage, a 624MHz processor, 5 Mega-Pixel Camera, FM Radio, Quad Band, HSDPA and GPS.
It packs all this capability into a 12.5mm thick device so it's a little thicker than the HTC Touch Diamond but still very thin.
Finally - it's running Windows Mobile 6.1! :)
CNET Asia has a great article on the device HERE

Jacek - how can you say it's dead? 5Megapixel vs 2 megapixel Bluetooth A2DP Music Streaming GPS HSDPA 7.2Anonymous

The millions of iPhone users are doing just fine with their 2Mpixel. The 3G iPhone also has GPS. HSDPA 7.2 doesn't matter much compared to 3.6, when most WM phones can barely make it to 1.8. A2DP = Most people are still fine with using wired headphones. Look at the iPod, it outsells everything out there, it's definately not out of fashion to use wires. Come up with some better arguments, then maybe WM will have a chance. Microsoft is always slacking off and not doing much to improve WM. 2003 to 2003SE was laughable, 2003SE to 5.0 was better, but still no leap. 5.0 to 6.0 is almost nothing worth mentioning, 6.0 to 6.1 is the same. WM is still using user interfaces and usability from the 80s/90s. What does Microsoft or its partners (HTC/etc..) that come even close to 1/2 of the iPhone? Nothing Don't go saying there are some things out there, they are either too late, or are just gimmicks (ie, not real improvements).Anonymous

Jacek - I'd really disagree with you (obviously) there are 20 million customers this year who would also... those that have bought Windows Mobile devices in preference to the iPhone. It's great to see Apple innovating however many of the things they are adding have been in Windows Mobile for a long time now. As always - it's about choice.Anonymous

So did the 3G (good luck finding a 3G connection!) iPhone ever get a user replaceable battery? The first one is a consumer joke. Merely an iPod with 2G radio phone.Anonymous
