SSD - No longer a compromise
Samsung last week announced they will have 256GB 2.5" Solid State Drives (SSD) in market by September. As the price point comes down this will mean no longer having to compromise on drive space vs performance when considering a traditional hard drive over solid state.
I use a Sony Vaio TZ which has a 32GB SSD - I tend to have to do a bit of data management however for most functions this is sufficient. The additional space would allow me to store a lot more media on the laptop though....
