Practical Azure #16: Windows Azure Traffic Manager
Ever since Microsoft announced Windows Azure Traffic Manager, for me the term conjures up an image of the dancing traffic cop in Providence, Rhode Island. While Traffic Manager may not have Tony’s visual impact, there are certainly some similarities in the roles: keep the traffic, whether it be cars or web service requests moving as efficiently and quickly as possible to their destination, including routing around accidents and detours (like a downed server or network link).
Tune in to my most recent episode of Practical Azure on MSDN DevRadio, and get a look into the configuration and operation of the Windows Azure Traffic Manager.
