Office Labs goes live
I haven't posted here for a very long time and I can't honestly promise that I'm going to get any better. That said, I wanted to let everyone know about the new group that I'm working in at Microsoft.
After Microsoft Word 2007 shipped, I moved on from the Word team. Wish I could tell you about the team I worked on for the next year, but their activities are still under wraps. However, at the end of last year I made another move and am very excited that my new team is finally public.
Office Labs is an innovation team in Microsoft Business Division. Our public website went live this morning. So go to OfficeLabs.com to learn more. In addition to background info on Office Labs, you can find out about some of our new cool projects:
- Community Clips
- Search Commands
- and several more
These are just a few of many projects you'll see coming from Office Labs. Make sure and subscribe to our Office Labs blog so that you can be alerted to new projects as they're released.
As for me, I'm working on one of our incubation teams. My team is focused on mobile productivity, or how can you get more done on the go (particularly with your cell phone). If you want to keep up with me and what I'm doing you can wait for a project to get posted to OfficeLabs.com, follow me on Twitter, or read my personal blog.
