A question I often get asked is – how do the different combinations of Exchange clients stack up against each other with regards to bandwidth usage ? Does Outlook Web Access use less bandwidth use less bandwidth than the full Outlook client ?

It’s a very, very comprehensive document that goes into great detail comparing the different clients which are available. At the end of the document is a summary which gives a high level overview of the results.
I wouldn’t recommend going through the document page by page but it will give you a good insight into which client to select in low bandwidth environments.
