A month ago I launched the MSMQ Prize Competition and can now announce the winner:

"I created a Biztalk ESB itineray logger using MSMQ so that you could log messages between transforms by sending the message to a queue and having a windows service pick it up and log it to a database. By doing this way you avoid hitting the biztalk message box. Overall performance increased (for a 4 stage transform with logging at start, middle and end) from 18 secs to 200 milliseconds."
