Thanks all! Time to close this blog

This is a sad day around the OneNote test hallway.  After more than 6 years of regular blogging I am stopping this test blog.  There are a few reasons.  First, the annoying aspect of this blog that became apparent very early was that I can never blog about what I am currently doing.  I cannot talk about features in development since they may not actually wind up shipping and that has a been a tough hurdle to continually jump over the years.

The other reason is I chose to leave Microsoft for other opportunities, so I will not be on the OneNote team any longer.  I had a blast while here and OneNote is, in my opinion, the cream of the Microsoft Office box.  I will definitely miss the people on the team and the folks I have met through this blog.

One last task I did was to change the Contact Me link on this blog to send me mail at my personal account.  I will be able to contact the team to send them any information you have so feel free to stay in touch for the time being.

Thanks for all the memories and all the interactions over the years!

Questions, comments, concerns and criticisms always welcome,
John

Thanks all.  And now that folks have replied and sent mail and such, I can confirm I get mail at my new email address. OneNote is the best!

This should not get deleted - I set it so that I could still be contacted as time goes by.  As long as the platform does not change, the text should remain.

I only drop by from time to time, but there've definitely been a lot of OneNote and QA gems here. Thanks for all the work!

Hi all, Now that OneNote is free and becoming more popular, I am unable to find any of the free OneNote templates. I know how to download the page templates, but the Travel Notebooks, Home Improvement Notebooks and others are nowhere to be found on Microsoft.com, nor anywhere on the web. As a Microsoft and OneNote trainer, this is a real disservice Anybody know where to find them?
