Three OneNote clients shipped today!

The whole goal for us on any team at Microsoft is to ship software.  We can optimize, debug, plan and do all the other tasks necessary to produce software, but if we never get it out the door and into customer hands there is no point.

So from that point of view I am happy to see three new OneNote clients going live today - OneNote for the iPhone, iPad and Android.  From the OneNote blog:

You can get all of the OneNote apps from https://www.onenote.com/, or you can directly download OneNote for iPad or OneNote for iPhone from the
Apple App Store and OneNote for Android on Google Play today.

You can hop over to the OneNote blog to see the screenshots and details on everything we did there.  This is pretty great to see from the test viewpoint.  I got to help with the iPhone version early and found a bug or two there which we fixed, but I did not get looped into the Android version until it was stable so I was only able to validate it there.  And remember, validation that an application works is the best result for testing - it's not all about finding bugs.

So if you have one of these devices, hop on over to the correct store and check out our new versions!

Questions, comments, concerns and criticisms always welcome,
John

Thanks for the heads up! Great to finally be able to sync Outlook appointment notes to the phone without having to reformat them first.

Awesome. I'm really looking forward to trying this out! I've been using OneNote my Tablet PC since 2006 and my only complaint is that it is hard to walk around a store or while helping clients.  I've been using the old android app, and it works reasonably well for quickly marking off check-lists, but actual content-creation and logging on the go was difficult.  Do you know how well that works with a Galaxy Note II?  I'm really interested in seeing it with a proper digitizing pen on Android.  If I could replace my paper notepad with this, It would be a big time-saver.
