PDC, Oh My...
I was planning on blogging tonight about
how pervasive the pseudo-word "Post-PDC" has become in my vocabulary. I
don't have time for anything else in my schedule unless it's PDC related, so
I've been saying things like: "maybe
we can sit down and brainstorm post-pdc". (This
to Chris Sells in IM, just a few minutes ago.) But
something just happened that really brought home for me just how close PDC really
is. I was scheduling a meeting with the
8 PMs from MSDN who are going to PDC (you know, to strategize ;-); so I’ve got all
their names in Outlook, tab to the schedule page and start looking for an opening. It’s
Wednesday afternoon already, so obviously it can’t be this week, but unfortunately
next week doesn’t look too good either – not one spot where we’re all here and open. So
I keep going, into the following week. I
finally find something on Tuesday, and then look up at the date – the 28th. OH.
MY. (Okay, what I said was actually more
colorful than that, but someday my son is going to find this blog, so I’ll leave it
at oh my.) Just one more week
before PDC. That’s it. We’re
in good shape, but what a shock. />Somehow
I was thinking there was another week in there. Focus. Focus. Focus.
