Women who Code (and the rest of us too!)

If you're a woman who codes or is involved in technology and you're going to PDC,
you should check out this proposed BoF session:

A lot of programmers are women - perhaps 10-20% of the industry, but it' s often hard to connect with other women at gatherings like PDC. This session is an opportunity for women to meet and talk about careers in IT. Have you wondered what it takes to be more visible in the industry? Are you curious about the backgrounds of women you see at conferences or in journals? Is there a disparity between how many women work in this industry and the number of women that are visible at the top of our field? This is a chance to gather with talented women coders like yourself to discuss how you can better define and reach your goals as a technology leader.

Interested?  View proposed sessions at www.ineta.org/bof
-- it's called, of course, Women who Code -- and then vote! (Thanks, Julie!)
