A fan of Boku
@ PDC I became A fan of Boku, which is another project of Microsoft Research. As it states on their web site:
Boku is a new visual programming language made specifically for creating games. It is designed to be accessible for children and enjoyable for anyone. The programming environment runs on the XBox, allowing rapid design iteration using only a game controller for input.
It is way beyond cool and it enables young kids (and also adults :)) to build computer games in an intuitive way. At the keynote we saw some examples of what 10 year old kids have done and let me tell you: imagination has no limits! Check it out and tell me is this something you would like your children to use?
