Underutilized sites...

Before I came to Microsoft, I had my own company. I also worked for a partner for a few years. I can relate to the time/budget constraints of the average partner and the fact that you're running at 100 mph.

Instead of recreating the wheel (which happens all too often at start-ups and small companies), I am surprised that partners don't take advantage of

1. www.msreadiness.com (fantastic sales/tech training by competency)
2. www.mspartnerdirect.com (access to volume discounts on marketing services, e.g. list rental, collateral development, and direct mail execution--among others)
3. www.microsoftpartnerservices.com (just a slew of stuff to help execute events so you can focus on the critical stuff of getting the right people there and telling the right story)

Being a Microsoft partner is kind of what you make of it, so PLEASE do yourself (and us) a favor and use these sites.

All we're asking in return is that you help customers make the decision to buy our stuff :-)
