The Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 User Experience Guidelines (or “UX Guide”) is a tool to assist Microsoft Dynamics NAV ISVs and partners in building more user-friendly applications. The UX Guide will help you get familiar with the new RoleTailored User Experience design principles, the terminology, you will learn how to configure, customize and personalize as well as all the relevant do’s and don’ts.

 

By using the UX Guide proactively during your development process, you can save time and avoid design violations. The UX Guide describes the graphical user interface (GUI) components of Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 and describes how these components must be used to form the GUI of the application – whenever you design new features, improve existing ones or update features from earlier versions.
