Bing!

I have to admit the name is catching up on me! On the same note, I was talking to my dad yesterday and he was not too happy with the name Microsoft chose. Especially after knowing our other alternatives which included ‘sift’. He had also heard about the Google Wave, pretty much from the same sources (blogs, articles, etc). I then asked him, what if Microsoft had called their product Wave and Google called it Bing…

Needless to say, he agreed it would have been less traumatic :) Interesting how perceptions get set…
